My Story...

Hi, I'm Michelle.
Originally from Cork, Ireland, I am the youngest of 6. Family is at the heart of everything I do. I love nothing more than sharing a pot of tea and a long natter with my siblings, following the adventures of my globetrotting nieces and nephews and recounting precious family memories.
I moved to the UK over 25 years ago to further my career and settle down with my now husband. Together we have two amazing teenage daughters. I volunteer at the SEN youth club that my older daughter attends. It can be beyond joyful, if a little hectic at times. I also adore flowers and am a keen, if not very successful gardener! And whenever busy family life allows, I visit Cork to connect with my loved ones, breezy walks on the beach followed by cozy chats by the fire side and endless cups of tea.
Being part of a large family, I am acutely aware of the cycles of life; celebrating joyful weddings, welcoming precious newborns and honouring our dear departed loved ones. After years in IT and project management, I wanted a role grounded in real life where I could connect with people, honour their stories, and focus on the human experiences that truly matter. I opted to train with the Academy of Professional Celebrants as a certified independent celebrant, and now I craft modern, heartfelt ceremonies for all of life’s key milestones.
